It’s safe to say that 2021 wants nothing to do with us any more. This year is moving through these streets like it does not even see us. We are 3 months away from counting down into 2022.
Despite this, we have been able to spot some of our recruits doing what they do best, kicking some serious a$$! We know that this remote learning life is not easy, so WELL DONE to all of the recruits featured into this issue.

Philani Dlamini from C23 has signed a fixed-term contract with TIH as a Data Scientist.
Andile Xakaza from C23 has from C15 has signed a full-tume contract with TIH as their new Junior Web Developer.
Prince Bvuma from C10 has signed a full-time contract with Lerato Agency as a Mid-level UI Designer.

This month is packed with some major move makers from the tech side of life. Zubair, Luvo, Njabulo (repping c25) and Taelo (C30 )have moved from Problem-Solving Foundations 1 to Problem-Solving Foundations 2! You guys keep it moving and we like it. Well done keep up the great work!
A big shout out to Taelo who started his Umuzi learning journey with cohort 30. It’s the passion for acquiring knowledge and his drive that does it for me. To give context, this man started levelling up while he was provisionally accepted into the programme, he didn’t let that provisional acceptance get in the way of his learning. He also reached out to us and expressed his desires to participate in the Curiosity Awards, to which we obliged. Unfortunately, his team (Connected) did not make it to the finals.

Curiosity Awards 3.0 Winners!
Team Goal -Diggers
This instalment of the Curiosity Awards kicked off with 4 fantastic teams with rad ideas to revolutionise how we live our daily lives. Of all the teams that participated, there could only be one winner!
The Goal-Diggers snagged the 1st prize position with their website-based idea, Creatives Connect. The site aims to serve as a platform for creatives to showcase their work/skills and ultimately find clients, and for clients to discover creatives, connect and hire them.
